Happy Quotes

Living a blissful & having a positive outlook in life is one my ultimate goal. I love to read quotes from different sources; it serves guidance for me to start my day right most especially that I am surrounded with co-employees that I need to deal everyday (listening to their personal and professional concerns).

Aside from reading love quotes, Happiness and inspirational quotes are my favorite. Here are some those I want to share with you with their respective author.

“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”  - Marcel Proust

“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”  -  Dr. Seuss

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”  - Mahatma Gandhi

“The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does.” - James M. Barrie

“Happiness is something that comes into our lives through doors we don’t even remember leaving open.” - Rose Lane

“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” - Marcus Aurelius Antoninus

“If you want happiness for an hour — take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day — go fishing.
If you want happiness for a year — inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime — help someone else.”
 - Chinese Proverb

“Happiness is like a butterfly.
The more you chase it, the more it eludes you.
But if you turn your attention to other things,It comes and sits softly on your shoulder.”
 - Henry David Thoreau

“The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be.”  - Marcel Pagnol.

“Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.” - Thomas Jefferson
